2025 Updated Practice Schedules

SPRING CLINIC PRACTICE TIMES (March 10 - April 4th) Mon-Thurs

Note: The Spring Clinic is open to only those swimmers that also register for the Pre-season and Summer season. This session is optional; it is a great way to get a head start on the swim season!

• Group A: 4:00p - 4:45p
  • All 6&Unders ONLY
• Group B: 4:45p - 5:30p
  • All 7-8s
  • MOVED: All new 9-year-olds without swim team experience
  • Most 9-year-olds
  • Any new 11-12s without swim team experience
• Group C: 5:30p - 6:15p
  • 9 - 10s with Silver IM Times
  • Any 11&Up above Blue IM time
• Group D: 6:15p - 7:00p
  • All Experienced 11&Up IM swimmers

* Coach reserves the ability to balance groups, and shuffle swimmers as needed.

PRE-SEASON PRACTICE TIMES (April 16 - June 4):

Practice is held Monday - Friday

• Group 1: 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • All 6&Unders
  • 8&Unders unwilling or unable to try IM 
    • IM is one lap of each stroke back-to-back
  • 8&Unders with IM times greater than 4:00
• Group 2: 4:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.
  • 8&Unders - IM time lower than 4:00
  • Some 9-10s - IM times greater than 3:00
• Group 3: 5:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
  • 9-10s - IM times lower than 3:00
• Group 4: 6:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
  • Possibly some 9-10s by invitation only
  • All 11&Up

No Practice on Memorial Day (Monday, May 26)

NO PRACTICE Thursday JUNE 5 & Friday JUNE 6 for Graduations

**Please note that all practice times are subject to change and will be updated on the site when confirmed. 

MORNING PRACTICE - Begins Monday, June 9th:

• Group 4: 11/12s & half of the 13/14s - 7:30a - 8:30a
• High School Level - 8:30a - 9:45a
  • All 15/18's and some 13/14's - by IM time and coach email to parents
• Group 3: 9:45a - 10:35a - most 9-10s
• Group 2: 10:35a - 11:20a - most 7-8s and some 9-10s
• Group 1: 11:20a - 12:00p - all 6&Unders and some 7-8s

NO PRACTICE on JULY 4, 2025

* Group placement by IM is determined for Pre-season in April, and minor changes are made on an individual basis at the start of morning practice, based on Time Trials data.  13-14 morning practice time will be set based on historical and pre-season IM times.  Swimmers who missed the in-practice timed IM opportunities will be determined by coach calculation, and all parents will be notified as soon as the information is set.

County Practice 2025

This is only for swimmers/relay teams going to the County Championship meet.  Gold Time Standards are required for individual entry, and Ruby Time Standards are required for Relay CONSIDERATION. All swimmers practice with their age group, with a focus on starts, turns, and relay exchanges.

• 13 & Up: 8:30a - 9:50a
• 9/10, 11/12: 9:50a - 11:00a
• 6&U, 7/8: 11:00a - 12:00p  

Fall Clinic 2025 - Dates TBD 

Practice is held Monday - Thursday. There is no practice on Labor Day. Fins required starting in September. 

Full Practice Schedule:

Group 1: 4:00pm – 4:40pm M-Th (IM Times greater than 2:30, and all new 9Un swimmers)

Group 2: 4:40pm – 5:45pm M – Th (IM Times between 2:30 and 1:57, and all new 12&Un swimmers*)

* 12 & Under Swimmers can test into Group 3 with a 100 IM swim faster than 1:57

Group 3: 5:45pm – 7:00pm M –Th (IM Times lower than 1:57, and all 13&Up swimmers)

The first week of practice should be relaxed for all swimmers as we ease back into practice and build our routines. Any concerns about appropriate level of challenge for each swimmer should be brought to the attention of the coaches, via email when possible.

2-Day per week swimmers should select two days and keep to those two days when possible (i.e. TuTh only). Any swimmers displaced by Labor Day practice cancellation on 9/5 can select another day that week.
